Yes - Classic Yes Full Album. leokb7. Classic Yes. Classic Yes is the second compilation album by the English rock band Yes, released in November 1981 by Atlantic Records. It was released after the group had disbanded in early 1981 following their 1980 tour in support of their tenth studio album, Drama 1980. The tracks were compiled by bassist Chris Squire and the cover was designed by Roger Dean. Upon its release, it charted at number 142 on the US Billboard 200. Some pressings included a free live single of previously unreleased live versions of. Classic Yes - Yes. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Покупайте и продавайте винил и компакт-диски, формируйте. The key to this collection is in the title: this is the band's classic music. Anything prior to The Yes Album is cut out, no attempt is made to salvage snippets from Relayer or Tales from Topographic Oceans Drama and Tormato are dispensed with. What remains is what made this band great: the science fiction and fantasy-laced epics, the tangible wizardry of their arrangements, moments that crystallized the magical power of music, and two unreleased live tracks from 1978 that find the band tethered to the realm of mortals. Yes - The Yes Album 1971. Yes Album is the third studio album by English progressive rock band Yes, released on 19 February 1971 by Atlantic Records. It was the band's first album to feature guitarist Steve Howe, who replaced Peter Banks in 1970, as well as their last to feature keyboardist Tony Kaye until 1983's 90125. The album was the first by the band not to feature any cover versions of songs. The band spent mid-1970 writing and rehearsing new material at a farmhouse at Romansleigh, Devon, and the new songs were. Classic Yes is the second compilation album by British progressive rock group Yes. Originally released as a single LP with a bonus 7-inch 33 13 RPM disc featuring live versions of Roundabout and I've Seen All Good People from 1978, everything has been compiled onto one handy CD. It was taken out of circulation by 2003. Although it was initially not a strong seller, Classic Yes ultimately went platinum in the US and still remains the ideal entry point for Yes novices. The original CD release of this album (circa 1987) used the original CD releases (or digital masters thereof, rather) of The Yes Album, Fragile and Close To The Edge as sources for the tracks coming from those albums. The Fragile tracks cancel out in a null-test with no volume matching done, therefore, these tracks were direct clones. The tracks from the other albums had about .8dB added to them, and once the volume is matched, these too cancel out.
(Tested using a US press of Classic Yes and Close To The Edge, JP-for-US of The Yes Album and WG-for-US of Fragile.)

I can't speak to the sources of the remaining three tracks on the album but I would be interested in knowing if Wondrous Stories was cloned from a digital master of the then-yet-to-be-released CD of Going For The One (assuming it was already in the pipeline at that time.)
Why is this listed under "singles"? Isn't it an LP with a bonus 7" single? Or in other cases/versions just an LP?

Does this version include the 7" single? The cover pic has the sticker but its not mentioned in the detail or should I another release with the single?
