The Clash is the self-titled debut studio album by English punk rock band the Clash. It was released on 8 April 1977 through CBS Records. Initial copies of the US version also came with a bonus 7-inch single which featured Groovy Times and Gates of the West. It was another moderately successful album for the Clash in the United States, even though the sales were likely diluted by the longstanding popularity of the UK version on the import market.
