Infinity is the fourth studio album by American rock band Journey, released in January 1978 on Columbia Records. It was the band's first album with vocalist Steve Perry and the last to feature drummer Aynsley Dunbar. Looking for a stronger lead vocalist, Journey briefly enlisted Robert Fleischman and even recorded a few tracks with him, one of which, For You, later appeared on the Time3 compilation album and Fleischman's solo album Perfect Stranger. Fleischman was soon replaced by Steve Perry, due. By 1977 Journey had reached a creative crossroads, with three underwhelming studio albums under their belt and little to show in the way of commercial success. At the prodding of manager Herbie Herbert, who felt a major shakeup was needed in order to reignite their spark, the band was convinced to audition and eventually recruit the services of former Alien Project vocalist Steve Perry. 50 видео Воспроизвести все Микс JOURNEY 1978 INFINITY ALBUM COMMERCIALYouTube. 50 видео Воспроизвести все '80s Sing-AlongsYouTube Music. For the bands fourth studio album, released in 1978, Journey departs from their normal album cover designs featuring standard band photographs and ventures into outer space with more psychedelic artwork and the use of color, creativity, and imagination. From this record onward it became a signature mark of the bands brand identity and any true Journey fan will remember their catalog of creative and spacey record covers from their heyday. Journey are going nowhere, but they have a plan. His name is Steve Perry, and Infinity is the result. By Classic Rock 17 December 2019. Image: Sony Music. Journey: Infinity deals. But back to Infinity, it's a good album that brings back a lot of memories. I always thought La Do Da should have been released as an A-side single rather than the B-side to Anytime. Feeling That Way and Anytime should have been released as a double sided single, in my opinion. The album has a pretty nice flow to it, but I find the last four songs on it forgettable. Over all, I'd give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
